The biggest attraction of Khagrachari. In the past, Alutila was one of the biggest hills in the Khagrachari, and at its bottom was the only cave in Bangladesh. The cave remains there and is the eye of attraction for every tourist. It is known locally as Matai Hakor or Devotar Guha(God’s cave). This 350-foot-long cave is always dark. You need to carry a light to enter and explore it, and the walls inside the cave are very slippery, so you have to tread carefully. It takes 15-20 minutes to explore the entire cave. I am sure you’re saying now, after so long, Toukir talks about a mountain spring, Isn’t it? Located in Sapmara village of Matiranga upazila, it is known to the locals as Sapmara Risang Jharna. In Marma language, its meaning is water falling from a high place. It is the most famous mountain spring in Khagrachhari district, located 11 kilometers from Khagrachhari Sadar. Like all other hill springs it is very beautiful but this hill spring has a special feature. And that is, its water falls from a height of 100 feet and descends the mountain slope to form a natural slider. Yes, a slider where I ruined my pants to enjoy.

6. Toiduchara waterfall
This waterfall is located 20 kilometres from Khagrachari district town via 12 kilometres from Jamtli Ungmang Para in Diginal Upazila. 9. Newsland Para
You must be surprised that the name is the name of a well-known country. It is really surprising, but it is true indeed that a place in Khagrachari is named New Zealand Para. This location is 1.5 kilometres south of Khagrachari, near Pankhaiya Para. There is a road called New Zealand Road that is the hot spot of this place, connecting Pankhaiya Para to Perachara village. There are soothing green fields on both sides of this road across the horizon. This hilly place is so beautiful that you will get lost in the realm of imagination for a moment. The vast hilly jhum fields and the rows of small and large hills in the distance are captivating. This New Zealand para is formed by parts of Perachara and Pankhaiya. It is said that a local hilly gentleman, while passing by this place, said that there is a piece of New Zealand in the heart of Bangladesh.
10. Debota Pukur
It is as attractive to tourists as it is a sacred place of religious belief for pilgrims. Hindus believe that if you go there, your wishes will be fulfilled. According to the local tribal Tripuras, the water god himself dug this pond to quench locals’ thirst. The water in the pond is considered a blessing by the local people. The water in this pond on the hill never decreases, and the water does not have to be cleaned. It is named Debota Pond or Matai Pukhiri for this supernatural power. Most of the year, tourists are seen flocking to this pond, but during the first day of Baishakh and the Bengali New Year, there is a noticeable crowd of tourists and pilgrims here. This beautiful natural pond of water is located at an altitude of about 1000 feet in Monchari, Maischari, 10 kilometres from the Khagrachari district headquarters. After passing a little way in Monchari, the journey of the stairs will begin; climbing the stairs on the hill, you will see all the hidden natural beauties of the mountain. Many believe it was formed by an extinct volcano. It is 1,500 feet long and 600 feet wide, and the people of Tripura believe that there is a hidden treasure beneath it.
