Best tourist places in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a small country located in South Asia and is ranked 94th in terms of land area. More than 200 million people live in that small land area, which is a much bigger population than the world’s biggest country. So people from other countries don’t think that Bangladesh can have beautiful tourist places and this is how many people in Bangladesh think too. But in my country, there are the sea, sea beaches, mountains, islands, caves, trekking trails, dense forests, Haors, waterfalls, lakes, scenic spots, khums, historical places, and many more. The major problem in my country is a lack of global popularity and I’m going to make it my problem. Here at Huntingworldbeauty, I am going to correct this misconception of yours through a list of the best tourist places in Bangladesh and show the world how beautiful my country is.
1. Cox's Bazar Sea Beach
Bangladesh is regarded as the world’s top travel destination because of this beach. There is not 1% doubt that Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach is one of the best tourist places in Bangladesh! And why not when it is the longest natural undivided sea beach on the planet: approximately 120 km long? Also, the most beautiful road in my country is just beside the beach.

2. Saint Martin:
The most beautiful and only coral island of Bangladesh is located 14 kilometers away from the mainland of Bangladesh. It is known to us now as Saint Martin, this island was originally called Coconut Jinjira or Jajira by the locals because so many coconuts were discovered on it, and it is surrounded on all sides by innumerable live and dead coral rocks in the brilliant blue waters. For various reasons, the Bangladesh government has allocated Saint Martin Island for tourists in December & January, and tourists can’t visit the island except for these two months. So it can be said without a doubt that Saint Martin Island is one of the best tourist places in Bangladesh in December & January.

3. Kaptai Lake
Now, it is time to introduce all to the biggest lake in my country and you all be amazed to know that the biggest lake in Bangladesh is not naturally made, it’s the result of human activity. Though it is made from human activity, Rangamati’s nature accepts it as her own. As for the feedback, it earns a name for Rangamati: ” Lake city of Bangladesh”. One of the three highland districts, Rangamati is renowned for its unmatched environment. To get close to the Rangamati’s pure nature, travel enthusiasts travel to Kaptai Lake all day long on a boat.

4. Tanguar haor:
The most popular site for visitors to visit in Bangladesh during the monsoon is Tanguar Haor. It is the 2nd biggest haor (wetland) in the country and one of its special features is that the hills of Meghalaya can be seen beautifully from here. During the monsoon, people actually travel around Tanguar haor all day by houseboat, staying and eating in this houseboat. Monsoon + Tanguar Haor + Meghalaya’s hill at distant + Houseboat + You = a perfect holiday plan in Bangladesh.

5. Kuakata Sea Beach:
Here is already a sea beach on the list so why another one? Because Kuakata Sea Beach hits differently, and compared to Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach it is less crowded and shows the best breathtaking scenery of the Bay of Bengal. In Bangladesh, Kuakata Sea Beach is one of the places that are famous for both sunrise and sunset views. As it is very charming, we the Bengal people named it “Sagor Konna”. In English, it means the beautiful daughter of a mighty sea.

6. Sajek Valley
Sajek Valley known as the rooftop of Rangamthi is a place where clouds and hills meet and fall in love. As a result of their love, they provide an unmatched environment and breathtaking scenery. The lush green of the surroundings gives the last touch of its beautiful makeup. Sajek Valley is the most soothing natural place in Bangladesh where clouds are your companion and mountains are your home.

7. Sundarbans
Sundarbans is one of the most dangerous and enriched biodiversity forests in South Asia. Sundarbans is not just a forest but also the biggest mangrove forest and a world heritage site of the world. For wildlife watching, this forest is the best place in my nation. So, this forest is always the eye of attraction for national and international wildlife lovers. In the winter season when the Bay of Bengal becomes calm, wildlife enthusiasts swarm here to explore the forest. Everyone wishes to see a big cat in there, the biggest attraction of the jungle.

8. Sreemangal
Let’s visit the kingdom of tea heavens in my nation. In Sreemangal, there are more than 150 tea gardens and they fully occupy the whole Sreemangal. Each garden has a different story of nature and different beauty. To see this unique work of art painted by nature, you should visit Sreemangal at least one times. There are also Lasuban Gorge, Lawachara National Park, Madhabpur Lake, etc tourist spots along with tea gardens.

Khums are the wonder of nature that present the purest environment of nature. In Bangladesh’s highland district of Bandarban, the Deboakhum is situated. Bandarban is also known as the travel universe of Bangladesh. Natural lovers flock here every year to lose themselves in the country’s travel universe. In the place, nature lovers will explore a water body with the help bamboo raft, which has steep rocky walls on both sides that look like mountains, and the top is covered with dense forest.

10. Dim Pahar
To feel Bandarban’s nature very closely and make the most beautiful bike trip in my country, you can choose the Dim Pahar spot. A road connects Thanchi with Alikadam through this Dim Pahar. Not only is it a mountain road, but it is also the highest road in the country and the highest point on the road is Dim Pahar. You will think you are traveling to the land of clouds. Actually, I am not enlisting Dim Pahar. I simply enlist the Bandarban district where the Dim Pahar is nestled. The Bandarban district is the heart of travel and tourism in my country. Literally, Our God (Allah) coded the whole Bandarban district for travel and tourism and Dim Pahar is one of the best ways to explore Bandaraban attractions.

12. Amiakhum Waterfall & Nafakhum Waterfall
You can make your Sangu River trip more thrilling if you start your expedition in search of Nafakhum and Amiakhum waterfalls. After reaching Remakri Falls along the Sangu River and trekking for a few hours in the deep forest, you will find Nafakhum waterfall. Finding the Amiakhum waterfall will require a couple of additional hours of trekking from here. This expedition cannot be completed in a day, so the adventurers either have to camp deep in Bandarban or stay in the tribal neighborhoods. The special feature of these two waterfalls is that they are not located on the mountain but at the foot of the mountain, and it is difficult to describe in words the majestic sight of them at the foot of the mountain.

13. Kirstang-Runrang Trail
The word Kirstang comes from the Marma language. Kirs is the name of an extinct bird, these birds were seen on the peak of Kirstang and tang means mountain. One of the attractions of Kirstang is the forest, which was once a protected forest of hundreds of Mandar trees and now numerous species of nearly extinct animals and birds can be found in this forest. Most of the sunlight does not reach the forest of this magical Kirstang where the clouds and sun play hide-and-seek.
The Hornbill bird inspired the name Runrang. Once many Hornbill birds were seen here, but with the passage of time, it is now almost extinct. The special feature of this bird is its big beak. The height of Rungrang Tang is about 2795+ feet.
Trekking through the forest for three days to conquer these two mountains, finding a waterfall, and staying at a tribal village for the night.

14. Jaflong
Jaflong is the most famous tourist spot in the Sylhet division, so the list of the best tourist places in Bangladesh can’t be complete without this spot. Another regret of natural lovers in Bangladesh is Meghalaya, despite being very close to us, we cannot visit it. And to visit it, we have to go through a broader with a travel visa. How many people can do this, but everyone wants to visit Meghalaya? So we chose Jaflong to experience Meghalaya’s nature just because it is nestled at the bottom of Meghalaya and very easy to go there

15. Ratargul swamp Forest
Another tourist attraction of the Sylhet division should be on the list of the best tourist places in Bangladesh and why not when It’s a freshwater swamp forest and the whole world has just 22 freshwater swamp forests? So, having one on our land must be a blessing for travel &natural enthusiasts like us.

16. Kanchenjunga
Nepal is home to Kanchenjunga, ranked 3rd in the race of the highest mountain in the world. Why, therefore, is it listed among the “Best tourist attractions in Bangladesh”? 18. Panam Nagar
In the district of Narayanganj, next to the capital city Dhaka, there is another monument of the past. Not just a monument, but a whole city of monuments, which is called the lost city of Bangladesh. The journey of this city began in the 15th century, then in the 19th century, the city was rebuilt by Hindu cloth merchants. Then, after the partition of the country, the city became an abandoned city. Walking along the road of Panam Nagar and looking at the houses on both sides of it, you will feel like you have traveled back in time. The houses of the city are slowly turning into ruins, many have already fallen to the ground. Come and visit before the entire city is destroyed.

19. Alutila Tourist Complex
Alutila Tourist Complex is one of the most beautiful tourist spots in Khagrachari district. There is a huge scenic park with a suspension bridge at the top of the hill to give peace to the tourists. At the bottom of the hill, there is a dangerous cave to give the tourists a thrilling adventure. The cave is very dark and slippery, it is impossible to move forward without a torch. It does not take much time to fully explore the cave, but if you do not walk carefully, an accident can happen.
20. Mahasthangarh
It is the greatest archaeological sight that Bangladesh has ever had. A whole city that dates back to 2500 years old. No one knows how many years this historically enriched city was buried under the soil of Shibganj upazila of Bogra district. In 1807, Scottish geographer and botanist Francis Buchanan-Hamilton brought the city to light again. How many investigations, examinations, and artifacts were conducted in this city? The history of Pundranagara is connected to this city. It was even the capital of the Pundranagara state in 700 BC. 22. Char Kukri Mukri
A river flows between the green forests on both sides, a beach surrounded by coconut groves, Grey Heron birds flying in the ocean, waves crashing on the shore, red crabs roaming on the beach, and the sunset merging into the sea. Char Kukri Mukri Beach, an island in Bhola, is filled with all these immense beauties. The breathtaking view of the river, the sea, and the mangrove forest at the same time will captivate anyone’s mind. Char Kukri Mukri Island is ideal for camping and this spot is very famous for camping in my country.
23. Paharpur Buddhist Vihara
The archaeological aspect of my country has been further enriched by a ruined Buddhist monastery of ancient Bengal, which is known as Sompur Buddhist Vihara. The monastery is not only the Best tourist place of Naogaon District but also one of the Best tourist places in Bangladesh. This monastery was the center of Buddhist religious education for 300 years and Buddhists from China, Indonesia, Japan, Tibet, and other countries used to come here to study here.

This temple is located in the Balaka area, 9 kilometers from Bandarban city. It is known as the Golden Temple, but there is no gold anywhere in it, and no gold was used in its construction. It is called the Golden Temple only because of its bright golden color, it also has another name: Buddha Dhatu Jadi. The Golden Temple looks different on the top of the green hill, so there is always a crowd of tourists here.
