Kuakata Sea Beach

Kuakata Sea Beach

Except for the Cox’s Bazar sea beach, the Bay of Bengal creates a few more wonderful sea beaches in Bangladesh. In this regard, Kuakata Sea Beach obviously comes to mind. In trem of size, it is nothing like Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach, but I would like to say that it has the best manifest side of the Bay of Bengal. And that’s why we named it the Sagor Konna, which means the beautiful daughter of the mighty sea. This place has another special feature that makes tourists more fond of it. Tourists can enjoy the sunrise & sunset from here, and these are basic forms of art of nature that bring serenity to the mind. For this reason, many people choose Kuakata sea Beach over any other beach in Bangladesh to enjoy the sea. Let me have a chance to give a detailed overview of A to Z about the Beach.

How it Looks

Compared to any other beach, it is less crowded even on holidays. And indeed it is different from other beaches, and the whole beach area is divided into two sections: the west section & the east section.

Kuakata sea Beach (main Beach)

The west section

In the West, tourists will see Lebur Bon, tin nodir mohona, and Fatar Char.

Lebur Bon is a well-known spot in the western section of Kuakata Sea Beach. Once, a Rakhine girl named Lembu lived here with her family, but a sea typhoon ruined the area along with the girl’s family. From that, this place with a forest was recognized as Lebur Bon. This place is also close to Kuakata’s famous fish fry market and Shutki Poli (Dry countryside). You can enjoy seafood from the fish fry market and see how Shutki is made from fish at Shutki Poli.

Tin Nodir Mohona is the spot where tourists head in the evening to see the magical moment of the sky. How the sun slowly merges into the sea, and the waves take on a golden hue. Literally nothing can beat the moment of enjoying the sunset view at Tin Nodir Mohona.

`
Fatar Char, a small section of mangrove forest that is located on the opposite side of Tin Nodir Mohona. To feel the mangrove forest’s beauty, tourists like to go there. Normally, there are many speedboat services at the Tin Nodir Mohona that provide tours to Fatar Char. The service can only be provided if the sea is calm. If it is available on your time, please do visit the place, after all, it’s a resembles of the biggest mangrove forest in the world.

Sunset

The east section

In my opinion, the eastern section of Kuakata Sea Beach is more beautiful and has more spots compared to the western section. In this section, tourists will explore the Gangamoti part, the Gangamoti canal, Kauar Chor (Sunrise point), Red Crab beach, and the casuarina tree forest.

Gangamoti part is highly recommended to explore. First of all, the ruined mangrove trees of the part create a unique type of beach which is soothing to enjoy. At the same time, tourists will realise that these trees tried to protect us from cyclones. These trees witness many destructive cyclone destruction. Eventually, tourists will understand the importance of mangrove trees as well as the Sundarbans.

Gangamoti canal that Separate Gangamoti part and Kauar Chor part. My friends, if you have time on hand, explore it by boat. You will be pleased by the raw beauty of its two banks.

Another name for Kauar Chor is Kuakata Sea Beach’s sunrise point. If the sky is clear, tourists will witness the most beautiful sunrise in Bangladesh. I pray Allah bless you to see the most beautiful sunrise in my country.

Despite being a part of Kauar Chor, Red Crab Beach got its name due to the red crab. If you come to Kuakata Sea Beach during the off-season. I am sure it will mesmerize you by the red crab’s movement. The whole part is filled with red carbs and the art of their footwork.

The east portion beach’s casuarina tree forest enhances Kuakata’s natural attractiveness.. And there will be many more soothing things to see on the beach, although the Kuakata sea beach is 18 km long.

Location of Kuakata Sea Beach:

Kuakata is a city on the south coast of Bangladesh. To be more accurate, Kuakata is the very last city on the south coast, located 320 km from the capital, Dhaka. It falls in the Patuakhali district of the Barisal division.

How to go

As a result of the construction of the dream Padma Bridge, the Patuakhali district is now well connected by road to other cities of my country. Now, it takes 5-7 hours to reach Kuakata by road from Dkaha. And there will be no problem coming here from the rest of part of my country. All you have to do is pick a reliable bus to Kuakata. There is an alternative route, but it takes a lot longer, 14-18 hours. Going there by Launch. No matter where you are heading, the Launch journey is always pleasant. Now, it’s all up to you how you choose to go to Kuakata Sea Beach.

Best time to visit

Kuakata is recognized for showing incredible sunset and sunrise views. If you can’t see it, then it would be the biggest loss in your Kuakata visit. I never compromise with my traveling experience, so I don’t want you to compromise yours. So, my friend, make your Kuakata trip plan in the winter. Around that time, the sky is always clear, so there will be no obstacle to seeing the sunrise and sunset. At that time, the sea is calm, so there will be no obstacle to visiting all the spots of Kuakata. Don’t think about the mist, the mist never stands on a sea.

Stay and eat

As it is recognized as a tourist spot in my country, many hotels and resorts have been developed here to provide accommodation to tourists. Here I listed a few hotels for my friends.

1. Hotel Sunflower Residential
2. Hotel Sea Beach In
3. Hotel Sea Queen
4. Hotel Kuakata Paradise
5. Hotel Sea Place

There are many good food hotels throughout the sea beach area, especially in the area adjacent to Kuakata Zero Point. Even there are food stalls at almost every spot of Kuakata Sea Beach. I can recommend something to you about this food. If you go to see the sunset view in the morning, you must eat hilsa khichuri of Kauar Chor.

My thought

I don’t know about others, but the beauty of Kuakata directly strikes my heart. But some people are not appreciating its beauty. They keep throwing garbage here. I was quite disappointed to see this. Today, 25 October 2024, I am sitting on the beach in Kuakata and writing about Kuakata. I hope that I will not have to see these things when I return here in the future. And being a Bengali, I am telling the Bengalis to use some common sense, there is a specific place to throw garbage.
