This waterfall is formed like a small gorge in the middle of a huge green hills. Like the green hills try to hide something special in her care. Water falls from a height of about 30 meters on rocks, which merge into a reservoir by sloping. It seems as if nature has made a slide for us with its own hands. Location of Risang Waterfall
Risang waterfall is located in Sapmar village in Matiranga upazila of Khagrachari, which is 9 kilometers away from the district headquarters. Basically, tourists will find the waterfall at the foot of the hill if tourists enter 2 kilometers from the Rechhang Bus Stopage on the main road from Khagrachari to Matiranga. To easily get from the mountain to the waterfall, there is a staircase that goes down the side of the mountain. How to go
Khagrachari is very easy to go as it is well connected by road from other parts of Bangladesh. Make sure to choose a comfortable bus buddy.
Normally buses drop passengers at Uttam Market, in front of Zia Statue, Khagrachari. Walk a little further from there, buddy you will reach a place called Shapla Chatter. In Khagrachari, Shapla Chatter is the place where tourists easily rent travel vehicles for visiting the tourist spots. As a travel vehicles, buddy you will find CNG, Chander gari, pickup, and safari. Those travel vehicles operate under an organization that sets the rental fares for transportation in all tourist places in Khagrachari. A CNG can carry three persons, a safari can carry seven persons, a chander gari can carry ten persons, and a pickup vehicle can carry twelve persons.
You won’t be come Khagrachari just to visit Risang Waterfall, you will definitely visit other great tourists places. Now rent a vehicle according to your group and travel plan.
If you just want to visit the waterfall, then heading Khagrachari bust stand. From the bus stand, you will find local CNGs, chander garies, and jeeps to go to the waterfalls. CNG fare 100-120 BDT per person and chander gari & jeep fare 60-70 BDT per person. You will be drop at the entrance gate of waterfall. To pass the gate every tourists have to pay 20 BDT. From the gate, buddy you have to walk to two kilometers to see the waterfall. If you don’t want to walk, then there are bikers who can take tourists near the waterfall at 100 BDT (per person).

This place may lose its beauty in a few years, so visit while you have time. Watch the sunrise in New Zealand para in the morning and return to the city before 8 am to have breakfast.
After breakfast, you will come to Shapla Chattar, from here you will rent a vehicle for Risang Waterfall, Tareng, Alutila tourist complex, and Mayung Kopal. Risang Waterfall, Tareng, and Alutila tourist complex are on the same road, so explore all these places one by one and make sure to finish before 12 pm.
First of all, go to Alutila tourist complex, this is the most famous tourist complex in Khagrachari. There are all kinds of aesthetic structures on the hill to entertain tourists and there is a cave at the bottom of the hill to give tourists an adventure.
Then come to Tareng, this is a hilltop which is 1000 feet above sea level. After exploring it, go to Risang waterfall, if you want, you can soak yourself in the cool water of the waterfall. After exploring these three places by 12 pm, return to the city and have lunch.
After some rest, leave for Mayung Kopal, it will take at least 3-4 hours to explore Mayung Kopal. Mayung Kopal is a mountain that has a staircase to climb.
